           THE TECHNOLOGY AT THE   
loggruen

The building was built after the low-energie-house standard
There are also different energy saving techniques being used.
-    High heat insulation in use of environment friendly material, without mineral wool.
-    Perlite ( made of expandet vulkano-rock ) in the outer walls.
-    Cellulose insulation ( made of recycled paper) in the whole roof area.
-    Foam glas in the area of the basement ceiling, the roof terrace, and all the critical points
-    Own energy-production with a photovoltaik-(= solar )- system and a strength-warmth linkmashine with bufferstorrage
-   Controlled ventilation ( direct fresh air supply from outside for the rooms), recycling of the waste air for the heating of the fresh air for the public rooms.
-    Screening of the whole electric supplynetwork in the rooms.
-    Renounciation of PVC-containing pipes, PVC- containing electric circuits, PU foam and hardfoamsheets.
-    Rainwater usementsystem for the flush
-    Central vacummachine ( prevents raising a lot of fine dust).
-    Use of environment friendly cleaning products ( only recycle packages), also devided garbage disposal.

              
THE MANY WAYS TO COME TO THE  
loggruen

-    by bike
-    by train:
     - to Hamburg Hauptbahnhof, on to the S-Bahn S3 or S21 leading to Pinneberg, in                           
       Eidelstedt transfer to the A1 ( AKN ) to Burgwedel and then 6 min. on foot
     -to Hamburg Hauptbahnhof, on to the U2 to Niendorf-Markt then by bus 5 or 191 to
      Burgwedelkamp and then 4 min. on foot.
     - to Hamburg Hauptbahnhof or Hamburg Dammtor, then simply by bus 5 to Burgwedelkamp
-    by car:
     - highway A23, exit Eidelstedt  and then approx. 1km on the B4  leading to Quickborn       
    - highway A7, exit Schnelsen or Schnelsen-Nord, both about 1km
-    by plane: approx. 15 min. with a taxi cab.
